General Information

MRI and CT Scan are performed at an Outside Facility
The patient will be under anesthesia for the procedure.
The patient will be accompanied by a doctor the complete time.
As in any procedure using anesthesia there is a risk of complications and even death.
Imaging appointments are at 5pm or 9pm only, with pick up approx. 3 hours later.
Prior to the imaging appointment we will perform an Exam and Blood Test.
Normally the pretesting and imaging can be performed in 1 visit, but can take more visits.
Not all patients will be a candidate for the procedure.
The MRI or CT Scan study with the report has a processing time of 2 – 4 days.

If you have a Medical Order or Prescription from your primary doctor,
please email it to us at ron@vetplayas.com prior to making the appointment.
We will need the following information.
Type of Study MRI or CT Scan
With or without contrast
Which zone or zones to be studied
Any special notes and or instructions

MRI / CT Scan Costs

$920.00 per zone (normally 1 zone is needed)
$180.00 for contrast (if needed)

$920.00 CT Scan per zone contrast included
$56.00 Exam, $90.00 Blood Test
$40.00 English Translation of report
$40.00 to $200.00 Hospitalization per night (if needed)

All fees are to be paid prior to the imaging being performed
